Blackwalnut builds scenery for television, theatre, exhibits, and special events.
Our full service scene shop is located in Valley Cottage, New York just across the Tappan-Zee Bridge. Our shop is now over 30,000 square feet and houses a full metal shop as well as carpentry, scenic paint, laminate, plastics and electrics shops. We have a CNC router and full 3d CAD capabilities in our Drafting department. Blackwalnut is proud to have built scenery for ABC, CBS, NBC, ESPN, Gannett, BELO Broadcasting, Second Stage Theatre, Playwrights Horizons, Nissan, Merrill Lynch, Disney, CNBC, Embassy Row and many other high profile and respected clients.
